Here's my June Pic's...

Fear Factory - Digimortal

Digimortal

These guys hit the nail on the head for me. If your like me and at times get the itch for some of that 80's metal, but after listening to it for a few minutes grow tired of it and turn for something new, then this is an album for you. I think these guys hit that unique mix of keeping their past sound but altering it enough to keep it fresh when writing this album. It offers a unique mix of the past with the present, including some almost rap like beat feeling. I love to pump up the song "Linchpin" and feel that double bass pounding on my head. I dont know where to take this from here except to say if you understand what I'm saying, then buy this album!

Good Charlotte - Self Tilted

Self Titled

Here's a band thats got that new sound but keeps it real enough for me to make it a descent album. They have great harmonies and a good muscianship. I like the song "Motivation Proclomation". Whew! What a mouthful. A great song for those "down" days when you want a slower song , sing a little , and try to get into a better mood.
They make a dedication to everybody with "Little Things" that's a great song. This album makes you do some thinking with some great "riffs" and a funky little beat. I enjoyed this album and find it in the changer alot. A great album to add to the collection!

Staind - Break The Cycle

Break The Cycle

When I heard the first few hits from this album I enjoyed them but I thought to myself" Man! What happened to the heavier stuff I heard from the last album?". Well let me tell you it's there, but it hasn't found its way onto the airwaves. This album has a great mix of the ballads with the heavy hittin' rockers and it definetly wont let you fall into any "lull". The first song on the cd ( when it started) make me think instantly of the band "Live" then a few seconds in it hit! I mean it went into that heavy guitar that made me love this band. Listening to the first track will give you a good feel for this album how it ups and downs with just the right amount of "UHMPH" to make this a GREAT ALBUM WORTH HAVING! I can't say enough about this cd. I have stacks of cd's but I find myself playing this one over and over and have not grown tired of it yet.
Go out and buy this album, this is money well spent!
